Look no further than Applied Heating Services Ltd for effective heating solutions. As underfloor heating installers located in Washington, Tyne and Wear, we provide an efficient heating system without the air currents that occur in radiators. Whereas underfloor heating doesn’t dry out as much, radiators can carry dust and cause multiple issues. Backed by more than 15 years of experience, we also offer heating design services to meet your requirements.
Whether you have a new build, barn conversion, or even an extension on your property, we are ready to assist you. Having worked on both old and new properties, our professionals have experience in the commercial sector too. We have provided our comprehensive heating services to:
Schools – Hotels – Offices – Factories – Nursery Schools – Warehouses – Nursing Homes – Sports Halls
Your new underfloor heating system is able to be installed in all types of rooms, including bathrooms and living rooms. We design the system, supply the materials, and take care of the installation as well as providing diagrams. Our team even offer a supply-only service to suit your needs.
Sourcing Quality Materials
As certified installers, we always source high-quality materials so that you receive the best. We use suppliers Invisible Heat™ due to their reputation as a recommended company that offers great products. No specific kind of flooring has to be fitted on top of underfloor heating, however please we do advise that you try and avoid thick carpets. The flooring works well with tiles and hard woods as well as vinyl, laminated, and stone flooring.
An Efficient Service
When you contact us, we supply drawings wherever possible. Alternatively, we visit your site and take measurements before arranging a CAD drawing through Invisible Heat™. Your quote is then based on the CAD drawings. Our team of professionals also install ducted air system.
The standard pipe that we use is a five-layer PE-RT of 16mm x 2mm with a 50-year guarantee and CE approval. Our team also offer a heavy-duty pipe that goes straight into concrete with 20mm x 3.4mm wall thickness. Using a variety of fixing methods including Lewis Plates for joisted floors, we can provide both wired and wireless control systems. The pipe comes with a 50-year warranty due to its durability. The first 10 years include consquential damage, and the pipe usually works at 50 degrees celsius. With this temperature, the pipe can last up to 300 years.
Wealth of Benefits
There are no risks of contact burns or falling against sharp edges or corners with underfloor heating. There are no radiators to paint either for your convenience. In factories, the heat stays at floor level rather than disappearing into the roof void. Our standard compact manifold is self-regulating and pre-assembled, complete with a circulating pump. We can also supply a low temperature manifold without the pump and a regulating valve for use with heat pumps.
